hi i live in austria and just stumbled on the forum for about a week or two. i simply love it and for that week or two have been shaving with a DE razor, it's a cheap one though a wilkinson plastic sith metal in the handle,i dont find it really nice coz most of the time the blade rubs on my face and get burnd , but anyways this is another thread thanks for your time to read this and happy shaving ____ iulian
Welcome to the Den! It's good to have you with us. I had kind of rough shaves for the first week or so, but they do get better. It's probably more about angle and pressure (or no pressure) than it is about razor or blades. One thing for sure: it's nice to take pleasure in shaving again! Hope you enjoy your stay!

Welcome Iulian, I think Tom is right. Most of the people I introduce to wet shaving experience the same thing. I'm no expert but I think it is usually because they use to much pressure. I think that comes from using the lighter cartridge razors. Stick with it, once you get it down you'll love it. Good luck, Alan
