If your pictures were bigger, I'd save them and use them as my desktop wallpaper. Wow!

That's really a car with personality. Nice post-processing treatment!

And the last instalment of the Small French Village series.

Thanks, Yukio! Love your photo series. Could you roughly describe your steps in post processing of this latest one? It's just amazing!

First, I generated a tone-mapped hdr tiff with Photomatix. Then, in PS:

    – Copy layer.
    – Unsharp mask
    – Create mask and reduce the blown out highlights with black brush
    – Flatten
    – Select the brightest tones of the photograph (ctrl + alt + ~) and create new layer (ctrl + j)
    – Gaussian blur on that new layer
    – Create new custom black and white adjustment layer for that same layer
    – Flatten
    – New adjustment layer: saturation + 20
    – Loosely select cobblestones and create new layer
    – Unsharp mask
    – Flatten

    Voilà!

Found an old picture. Two versions: vivid or pale. Nothing too fancy.

    People,

If I had wanted the sun in the middle, I would have put it there.

    Thanks for your interest, though.

    Just checking in.

Wow. Y'all's pictures are so nice. I have nothing to compare. But I have added my proudest shout. It shows two things: how stealthy I am around wildlife, and how animals other than humans can admire a good view.
