It began with things like adding aloe vera gel to Dickinson's WH. Then it continued tonight, I took my cold beer into the shave cave and began digging through my stuff to build another experiment. I had a small plastic bottle that I just made a small portion just to see what it was like (initial indications are good but I'll be testing it fairly extensively in the next couple weeks). My mixing technique was quite sophisticated (a large Tbs heisted from the kitchen and stashed in the cabinet). Here's what I came up with: 2 parts Witch Hazel 1 part Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel 1 part Corn Huskers Lotion 2 parts Osage Rub The finished product has the color of my Dad's puke green, 1973 Dodge Polara or an old Forest Service Truck I used to own. The consistency is good, not too thick and not too soupy. It feels great on the skin and packs an acceptable methol coolness. If my tests go well the next step to to mix up about 6 ounces or so. More later.
Bottle it up and slap a label with your mug on the jug. I'm sure there is a market for your aftershave moonshine.
