I want to use a larger DE handle for some of the older 2 piece Gem and Ever Ready SE razors where the head comes off. To accomplish this I just need a threaded post to insert into a DE handle. I just need to know where to get one of the right post diameter and thread size. I guess I may or may not have to use some kind of adhesive to secure the threaded post but it may hold the razor head firm without it. Any suggestions?

They do not make those threads anymore... and that is a terrible thing to do to a SE...

You could also look at getting an Ever Ready Jewel. They have a handle that doubles as a war club.

The Valet autostrop handle will fit some of the older Gem/ER models. It will work on an ER 1917 model, and a regular Gem 1912. It will not work with a Gem Deluxe head or a travel GEM head. It is weighted differently and longer than a standard GEM/ER handle.

Much better idea then a DE handle I'm just saying....
