I need a brush stiffer than my Semogue 730 Badger, and I think I narrowed it down to the Semogue 1305 or the 2000.

Help me choose between the two, or I guess I am open to other suggestions if ya'll really want

Get which ever you think will be the most comfortable for your hand.

2000 by a nose. I couldn't decide between the two either so I bought both. They're both great brushes.

I was trying to decide between those very two brushes just last week!

I ultimately went with the 1305 because I felt that the 2000 would just be too large for my face.

1305, I'm not sure if the 2000's have the "New" lacquer on them yet...

I haven't used either brush, but I'll give you the standard answer:
    Buy both!

I have the 2000 and I do like it.
If the 1305 is anything similar, it's a good brush.

You've been given some great advice. Now the decision is yours (since we're not going to buy the brush for you;)) - trying to decide which one to buy....

tomholton1234- Thanks for posting this question. I was just fixin to post the same but ya beat me to it :) After reading the above, I've decided to go with the 1305. Evidently it works about the same as the 2000 but I think it's a better looking brush. Good luck with whatever you wind up selecting.

I ordered the 1305, only because I prefer smaller knot-size brushes.

I have not tried with boar but the 1305 is very acclaimed.
