    Whoever invented Amberbock, Ritz Crackers and smoked Gouda Cheese is a god walking among mere mortals...that is all.

    I agree. I also like the smoked Gouda with pretzels. Somehow the salt enhances the flavor.

    Try the 5 year old aged Gouda some time. Salt crystals form in the cheese. Awesome stuff!

    I'll agree 100% on the Ritz and Gouda. Amberbock - good but not immortal good.

    I always thought those were calcium crystals like in some aged cheddar cheeses. ;)

    Speaking of flavors that enhance each other... muenster cheese and finely sliced fresh garlic.
    Mmmm...
    Just don't plan on kissing anyone soon after. :happy102
