Hey All, My name is Aaron and I've been de shaving for probably a year now. I was influenced pretty early on in my shaving venture by my uncle. He shaved with a straight, and also bought me my first shave kit. A Burt's Bee's Bay Rum brush, mug, aftershave, soap, etc. I shaved with that for a few years using a cartridge razor, then switched over to a DE last year after getting tired of the razor burn and ingrowns. I seem to be blessed with the coarse beard/sensitive skin combo. However, I have noticed (after the initial learning curve) that the ingrowns and burn are much less. Current kit is a VDH boar brush, Gillette Fat Boy (1960), and Proraso. I've been active at the "other place" and thought I'd come stop by and check out this happy forum too! Cheers! KS
