I'm not new to the wet shave thing. Been at it for years but only in the last couple have i bought a safety razor. I figured if it was good enough for dad...

Any recommendations for a good tube of shaving cream would be greatly appreciated. NO PRORASO!

Newbie

I have only been wet shaving for two weeks. Love the relaxation that comes from it. I spent the last 9 years racing an electric razor across my face. Hurry, hurry, hurry. For the last two weeks, I have been waking up 20 minutes earlier, taking my time, and enjoying my shave. Still have not had that perfect close shave yet. I expect the results will come with improved technique. Lastly, I am interested in the contest.

Newbie wet shaver checking in and registering for this awesome comp.

Started wet shaving a couple of weeks back with a cream starter kit (Merkur 34C & Derbys, EJ Brush & TOBS Lavender).

Now on the 5-6 shave and it's improving. I do however have one area that's always a bit red and that the left side of my neck towards the base.

I'm in. I'm interested in trying a safety razor. I love wet shaving, but I shave my head also and it's really expensive using those crappy over priced plastic cartridge razors. Hopefully I can find a good inexpensive starting point.
