Gillette NEW Replated

    The madness... the insanity...

    took my best shaving razor... the 1930's Gillette NEW... handed it off to a jeweler friend of mine... said, "Make it nice!"

    A week later, he returned this to me today...

    Now I'm not sure if I want to shave with it... too damn pretty!

    Did you have this totally replated or just cleaned up?
    If replated, would you mind disclosing the cost? I am considering doing the same.

    +1 I've got a New that looks just like that, minus all the prettiness. Would definitely like to know what a replating might cost.

    I do re-plating in gold or nickle....also $35.00.
