Hey everyone, What music if any do you Guys and Gals' listen to when shaving? I like to play Morcheeba of Pink Floyd. Anything relaxing really. I'm interested in what you like and does mood effect what you play? Happy shaving ::git
Seems like a lot of guys listen to classical. I would love to listen to music while shaving, but I shave very early and wouldn't want to wake anyone up. I've thought about using headphones, but they seem like they would get in the way.
I don't listen to music while shaving just because I don't really have a setup for it, but if I did it would be Classical. I am a Classical music lover and that would seem appropriate music for my mood while shaving.
My band of choice would be The Dave Matthews Band. With me being a bass player, anything Jazz of or Funk related puts me in a good mood and gets me ready for the day.
I don't like having music going as background for everything. I listen to it if that's the main thing that I'm doing, or sometimes if I'm reading, but I don't like it always playing for no reason. So nothing while I'm shaving, or eating breakfast. I don't want the radio going at all. Mostly classical and jazz, though, when I am listening.
Mon - Fri I listen to "In Touch" with Charles Stanley and "Truth for Life" with Alistair Begg. Weekends it could be Petra, Third Day, Jimmy Bratcher, Andrea Crouch...
The Rossini Overture Il Barbiere di Siviglia ....actually there is little that can compete with the sound of a Sharpedge loaded Futur, going about its' business.
No music for me either. With a house that has 3 teenagers, I enjoy the peace and silence of my shave time. Just the scritch scritch scritch sound of the whiskers being mowed down is what I like to hear. Now a new problem has occurred, my wife says she enjoys watching and listening to me shave, so now far too often wants to sit in the bathroom and chat while I shave. :mad:
Relaxing weekend Shave: Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass (A taste of Honey, Tijuana Taxi , The Lonely Bull, Zorba the Greek, Never on Sunday). I have the greatest hits cassette in the portable in "My" room next to the bathroom. Reminds me of of all things 60's, and of my Father. Usually: 680 AM News channel View attachment 14738
This thread caught my attention.. I remember my husband, haha! We have a small radio in our bathroom.. Every morning, he listens to music.. Imagine him, singing while shaving.. :happy102 Sometimes, I get annoyed with his voice, Lol!
Fantastic response everyone. I'm off to the library this weekend to see what I can find. Gotta check out Dave Matthews, also Herb Albert I think. Its been an insight too. Thanks fellow shavers
