How many days?

Whilst I was just upstairs shaving and and deciding on which soap/cream to use today, a thought struck me.

How many days could I go in a row without using the same soap/cream over again? :think002

Now I'm not talking the same scent, since I have several of the the same scents in both soap and cream form, or having several tubes/pucks of the same cream or soap stockpiled. I am talking individual tube/tubs/sticks/pucks of various kinds.

I came up with 48!

Thats right, I could go 48 days without reusing the same soap/cream scent combination over again, this doesn't include the small samples that I have been sent from my friends here at TSD. I never thought I suffered from SAD/SCAD, but the numbers do not lie. :ashamed001


So how about you, how many days could you go without a repeat?

 

I'm at a humble and lucky 13-but I have a stick (my first one) and two soaps on the way from Mama Bears so it will soon be 16. 48-wow!
We can do this with razors, blades, AS, pre-shave, brushes.....

 

Thirteen, counting soaps and creams only, fifteen if I count two types of shave oil. I had some idea of using the oils either as pre-shaves, or as stand alones for travel, but I'd now consider them just a waste of money.

Haven't gotten interested in soaps and creams the way I have in razors, but thirteen is still a lot of different kinds. The "normal" male shaver probably sticks with one kind of canned cream. I have considerable stockpiles of Williams and VdH, quite enough Colonel Conks, Musgo cream, and Proraso cream, and single samples of some other stuff.

I was surprised when I counted that many for me, and I thought, "Hmm, I wonder what the count for JoAnna and Jeff would be?"

 

Should we organize a hunger strike until JoAnna counts?

 

I knew that wouldn't work!

 

I counted 13 different soaps....

If I take Bills count into consideration it's not too bad

 

I change every day.

 

I am pleading the 5th.

 

I only count 10 days. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or if I need more soaps and creams.

Sheez....I could only go 9 days. I feel so...so..small. Must have more creams/soaps soon

 

Is umpteen a real number?

 

Funny you bring this up. I was going to take a count this past weekend, but between this, that, and the other thing, I didn't get around to it. I'll try and remember to get a count before this week is out.

 

I imagine I've got one of the lower numbers at 5 -- and I'm fine with that. I could go to 7 if I had containers for what's left of a puck of Williams and another for what's left of a puck of VDH Deluxe.

 

14 days, 3 creams 11 soaps.

 

I just cleaned out the cave so I now have exactly 4 days. Before I got rid of the stuff I didn't like it still would only have been 7.

 

5 days.

I counted the sample size AOS cream that I have about a day left of. 1 more full cream and 3 soaps.

Then again, my wife just called and told me that FedEx just dropped off materials for my homemade soap.
