I need to buy a new razor (RAD sufferer). I'm torn between a Muhle R41 and the Merkur 37C. I'm leaning toward the R41. Your thoughts if you please.:signs002
I had a 37C...for about a dozen shaves. Then I sold it. It was too aggressive for me at the time. It may have been my technique as I'd only been using a DE for about six months. Wish I had it back to try now that my technique has improved. Last month I bought a Merkur 11C. It's the open comb version of the HD, much like the R41. Now I've never held an R41 so I don't know how the heft is compared to the 11C, but I do like my 11C. So, long story short, I would suggest the R41 for now and the 37C later ('cause you know you want one )!
