I wake up about the same time on weekdays, though I cook and eat breakfast first, then hit the bathroom. Shower for about 10 - 15 minutes, and shave for about 15 - 30 minutes.
I DE-shave for a couple of months now and I spend about 20-30 minutes from opening the secret shaving cabinet till closing it with all the stuff cleaned and put in order. My wife starts to think I go crazy I'm not trying to be in hurry. I just enjoy it very much, and I'm happy it's payed back with some BBSes.
I take forever to shave. I use a straight though. I have to get up an hour early on Sundays since I started straight shaving. I want to take my time and be as smooth as I can... without everyone else wandering around.
20 minutes start to finish (includes prep) with my 1946 Aristocrat and Red IP's. 30-35 minutes with a str8 (down from 60).
For me, the shave part of my morning routine rarely takes longer than 15 minutes, and that's if I'm going slow. I've been using brush and soap for more than 15 years, so that takes next to no time. I don't have a horribly thick beard, so I can usually get away with longer strokes so it doesn't take me that long to get a very good shave and seldom more than 3 passes.
It's all about enjoying the shave, its an experience not a chore, at least for me. Twenty to twenty-five minutes, enjoy it.
shower is 10 minutes or so, ,lather gen and shave 5-10. That's a good daily 3 pass shave plus a coupel of touch ups. Some weekends I play around with a shavette type straight and that 7 minute shave turns into more like 30, or I just want to really take my tiem and enjoy and streach it out to a nice relaxed extra careful 10-15, of course :> That said, I have a pretty easy face to shave, since I have a VERY consistant beard grain ( it all angles almost exactly to my nose, except for a bit aroudn my Adam's apple), and rarely get razor bumps, ingrowns, etc. That makes it much easier to go quickly, even if my stubble is very thick. I cover my face very easily in maybe 10 or 15 razor strokes per pass, so that's obviously going to be a lot faster a shave than a guy who has to do 50 or more strokes because the grain of their beard isn't consistant. There you go, that's my theory as to why some of us finish shaves in as little as 5 minutes, and others take 3-4 times as long.
I've only started recently, but it takes my about 15-20 minutes for prep, shave and cleanup. That's with 4 passes - 1 WTG, 2XTG, and 1 ATG. I think the time you spend probably depends on your comfort level, and how much you enjoy it. The more you enjoy it, the longer it should take. Just don't rush it...
15-20 minutes is my standard, but I don't rush it. I listen to music and take my time. I prepare my clothes the night before so I don't have to wake up and iron. It's nice not rushing in the morning!
