    Wednesday:
Definitely the last consecutive day for this razor/blade combination. Ran it up to a full week, and will try something new tomorrow.

    Surrey Soap
    VdH boar brush
L2 Schick injector with Schick blade

    LeCoultre frameback, 7/8ths
    Blade #6 (again)
    Omega boar brush
    Omega s/c
    Proraso a/s splash
    Bigelow Barber e de c

Second time out for this blade, after a return trip to the pasted strop. This shave was just as close and much smoother than the first.

    Best Regards

Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum Lime & Peppercorn
    Brush: Mohawk 3-338

Post: Cold water rinse, Humphreys Maravilla Lotion, Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood

I've been pleasantly surprised by this blade. It's not giving the closest of shaves, but they sure have been comfortable.

    Razor: 3/8 Emco Square point
    Soap/Mug: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Brush: Custom Rosewood Silvertip
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
    Aftershave No. 4711

First shave with the Emco straight I found at an Antique Store for $8.00. It had a really keen edge and with a little stroping it shaved very well. DFS and I'm really starting to get the technique down pretty well with the straights.

Great shaves and photos shown by all this morning Gents. Gotta run! :D

    Dickinson’s Witch Hazel
Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns Toner

A most pleasant shave, and BBS too! This Salter cream has a grapefruit/lemon scent, and it’s always a pleasure when it comes up in the rotation.

The Ogallala BR, L & P toner was a fine finish that integrated well with the citrus note of the Salter cream.

Danke sehr, mein Freund, but if there is alcohol in it, which I am afraid there is, it is risky. I do NOT want for you to send, and then it should be confiscated by our Customs. :sad023 :scared001

    Thursday's shave:

    * Pre-shave wash with 'Dermalogica' face wash
    * L'Occitane CADE shaving cream
    * Kent BK2 grey Badger brush
    * 1/4 grind Custom J. Chandler, 11/16
    * Alum Block as post treatment

First shave with the L'Occitane cream, which I have described more here. The straight was stropped 30/50 beforehand and proved to be, as always, cutting-edge hardware.. :think002

    Thursday:

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Goodfella/Elios day 3
    Florena-SC :love008
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Booster Mosswood-AS
    Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme-EDT

My face really appreciated the Florena cream this morning, because it has such soothing skincare. For some reason which I don't know, my skin felt a little irritated when I woke up, but this cream gave me the protection which I needed, as well as fantastic lather. The Booster Mosswood smells so traditional, barbershoppy, and nice! ;) :D

    Thursday

I bought this Ever Ready razor from the Shave Den store in December, but am using it for the first time. Walgreens blade, Col. Conk's Lime in the mug.

Not quite DFS. No nicks or weepers, but this model needs a little practice after using 1900 and 1912 style Gems.
