This razor is just plain old scary sharp. I didn't have much stubble this morning but what was there was mowed down like hot butter. I tried stropping between passes and after the shave, I think I like it. And oh yeah, if you don't like Aqua Velva Classic, you're just a poopy head.

For some reason I found myself with a 3-4 day beard. Felt nice to shave it off. I always get good shaves when I end up waiting a couple days inbetween, but rarely force myself to wait it out. I even snuck in a fourth, Atg, pass that I almost never bother attempting. Today it was smooth and painless. Premium shave today. Feels nice to be clean again.

Probably not as many as you might think. Right now I have between 20-25 razors that I'm rotating.

    Razor: Gillette Norfolk
    Blade: NOS Schick Plus Platinum
    Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Cream: Penhaligons English Fern
    A/S: Penhaligons English Fern

I have been too busy to post my shaves lately but have used the Gillette Norfolk and Schick Plus Platinum combination for three days running with excellent results. The Norfolk is far and away my favorite open comb razor and the discontinued Schick Plus Platinum blade ranks right up there with the best blades ever made. I enjoyed a luxurious BBS shave and the Pens English Fern was a fine and appropriate finish.

That TOBS Avocado is incredible. Smooth, rich, foam galore-I got a sample of it-looks like I'll need a full jar for my rotation.

sorry, wasn't trying to be mean. I was going for funny, self-deprecating, perhaps it was a bit over the top.
