    Gem Bullet Tip Micromatic
    D.R. Harris Almond Shave Stick
    Omega Turnback Boar Travel Brush

My most expensive soap, $13.75 for the stick. Works pretty well, but not better than the cheap stuff.

A very small brush that comes with its own sleeve to cover the bristles for travel.

Took some work, but got a good lather, face lathering. Another fine shave. I'm probably due for a bad one.:shocked002

Razor felt quite nice in my hand but isn't quite where I need it to be edge wise (touch up hone tonight). The Palmolive Shavestick was fantastic, great smell, and nice lather.

    Razor: 5/8 Mehaz Solingen
    Soap/Mug: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Brush: Custom Rosewood Silvertip
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue :freezing

Much better shave today than yesterday! I was dreading my shave this morning (that hasn't happened since the old Mach 3 days!) but it wasn't that bad. I used a very light touch with the razor even in the area of yesterdays skin grafts. The razor is honed great! If my shaving skills was a good as my honing skills I would not have any trouble. Still some stubble left on the right side of neck but I'm not obsessing about them this morning. (Need to heal a little more before going there.) I think I'll stick to this shave kit for awhile and eliminate all the variables to mark my progress in the skills area. The Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue really felt nice this morning! :D

Thank you for the support Steve. I pulled it off again today too in less time and an even better shave!

But I digress, back to my SOTD:

    • hot shpwer
    • GEM Micromatic
    • GEM personna blade
    • 25 mm EJ silvertipo

Another great Micromatic shave today. Very pleasing :D I still don't think I'm torn from DEs but I accomplished what I wanted to and that was to learn the micro well enough to not bleed and be irritated and I have far surpassed that.
