I had a fellow turner who makes some really nice segmented blanks stop by and give me a couple of large blanks he glued up to turn into shaving brushes :o The large handle is 60 pieces of Rosewood, Wenge & Maple, the smaller chubby has 40 pieces of Ebony, Wenge & maple. They are in a herringbone pattern. The large brush sports a 24mm UK Silvertip and the smaller chubby has a 28mm silvertip. I think they turned out great. What say you.......? Thanks for looking and your comments. ;)

    stunning!

I've been reading about segmenting and giving some thought to try it at some point - but that point is waaaaay down the road. Especially segmenting with more than 3 or 4 pieces.

Wow, great work on the turning, and great job by him on the segmenting!
