I know I have been MIA for some time now and I apologize. Things have been crazy here. Anyway, my husband "Mudkipz" just left for Basic Training, in the Army. I want to get him a razor for graduation. I want it to be special but I can't spend a fortune on it. I am looking for ideas, so if you would like to help, let me know what you can come up with.
Congrats on the Graduation, I know it's a little expensive but I would go with the Merkur Futur, only razor he will need for the rest of his shaving life. You can get it at bullgooseshaving.com for about 60 bucks, can't beat it.
Ok not really what I am looking for. The brat stole my DE sometime ago, it's ok though. I am taking over his Dovo while he is gone.:happy102 I would like to get a straight razor, a custom made item or just something really special. Is Max still working his magic?
I'd recommend going to the classified section at Straight Razor Place. As great as this community is, we just don't have the number of restored straight razor razors for sale you can find there.
Wazazzle honey I am looking for a straight that is why I posted here. Someone suggested a DE and I was just saying that my husband doesn't need one cuz he stole mine.
I just ordered a straight from Larry at Whippeddog.com Don't know if you just want a straight or if you want a custom job. But the razor only set me back 33 bucks so I figure that might be worth a look.
