Thats something else.. The very nice Boots shaving stick is a black classic plastic tube.. I think the one you found is some sort of after-balm or so.. The actual shaving stick is for some strange reason not aviable on the Boots website.. Hope this helps..
Joe, my man, Botanics ain't got nothin' to do with Boots. Boots is a chain of drugstores all over the UK, which carries their own line of cosmetics, and shaving stuff.
Thank you gentlemen, I had a feeling that wasn't the one. Anybody have a pic, or know where I can get a pic?
TraderJoe ~ Botanics is the Boots own 'high end' brand of products. There is a Botanics shave stick and a standard Boots shave stick. I sold one recently in a group of creams & soaps. I could probably find the picture I took and isolate the Boots stick if you like.
Hey bud, thanks for the info! If you have a pic, that would be fantastic :happy088 Welcome :eatdrink004
the stick is good, Joe--nice scent, a cross between minty and soapy-lemony. The lather is rich, and full.
*Puts cheap but effective shave stick on list of things his sister can pick up for him whilst she is in London in November.* Welcome to The Shave Den, Exapno.
Of course you can. If I still had it I could take a better picture but alas, it's gone. If any of you in the US are desperate to try this stick, let me know. I'm sure something can be arranged.
Boots say they don't ship to the US, the rats. But a reader of the blog sent me a Boots shave stick (and some Boots and Tesco blades). Very nice shave stick. Good packaging, too.
That's strange considering Boots products have an entire aisle to themselves now in the Spa section of most Targets. ...of course, all womens products.
Target has Boots products on their website, but I would guess they are using an importer. Not actually getting it straight from Boots.
I emailed the company to see if there was any chance of getting any of the Boots men's range in Target or CVS. Right now you only see selected women's cosmetic products at those US outlets. I may also email Target. I would love to see them put in the men's range since they no longer stock Proraso. ("Caldo" sucks, so they might as well not even have a men's line if that's all they sell.)
