I have a Wilkinson Razor. A 1930 The ‘Empire’ Self Stropping Razor to be exact.
The blades are a single piece. Labeled "Hollow Ground".
    Pretty fancy looking.

Just wondering if anyone has run across a new replacement for these.
I assume there are museum pieces by now.

Razor was my great grandfathers. Interested in giving it a test drive.

No sorry, no new replacements that I know of.

I do remember reading over at T.O.S. that some models had blades that could be honed, while the later models were made so replacement blades had to be purchased.

I have a couple of these razors with complete sets of blades. They can be sharpened and stropped for sure. Lot's of them are chipped on the ends where they go under the retainer on the razor.

You have to take them out of the clips, and they can be worked on a stone. Then put back in the clips and on the razor and stropped if you still have the strop.

pm me if I can help.

Thanks, I will see what I can do.
The blade looks like its in good shape. I however only have 1 blade.
I will try and track some down on e-bay cheap, knowing that they can be re-worked.

Anyone tried to shave with one of these?? looks interesting!

the thing that stinks is with most wedge blade razors (99% of the time) you can interchange the blades if need be. the wilkinson blades sadly cant.
