Hey hey. I just joined not long ago. I'm a "retired" doctor (looking for something else to do). I just started wet shaving again after more than 45 years. When I first started shaving, my dad taught me how to do it with a Gillette DE. Eventually I went through phases with single edges, electric shaver, shaveless (bearded), and most recently with a Mach 3. Somehow I found this site and decided to start wet shaving again. I just bought Gillette Super Speed and Fatboy razors, a Merkur HD, and a Merkur Gold Slant, as well as Shavemac and Rooney brushes. As you can tell, I'm having fun! Re my username, yes, I'm a longtime Pogo fan. I also have the username Albert Alligator at some sites. As I told Bob (chaucer), some years ago I had a written correspondence with Walt Kelly, who seemed quite nice. So of course, if I have blade that's a tad too aggressive, I just say, "Rowrbazzle!"
