Wow, I love these Russian creams that I've been shaving with lately--Tet-a-tet is pure class, elegance, and pleasure. The matching aftershave balm does so many good things for the skin.

Nice shave to start the week.

 

Third time with this combo, Giving a Fine 4 pass with touch up BBS shave. But I'm disappointed again with the lather. Lots of brush work and still thin and foamy lather. Had to use a dab of ingram's to make it a little more creamy. It's menthol monday. AS was barbasol Brisk green.

Got an awesome lather with the P.160. I was putting off using it on work days because it seems to take a little attention to get the lather right, but today it was a breeze.. Heavy on product and light on water...season to taste. The Bluebirds are really nice..sadly this is my only specimen, from a sampler pack. The iKon is a joy.. Today was a three and half pass shave with the the ATG and Touch-up combined and it proved to be awesome!! The Frank's Shave Finest Badger is turning out to be a favorite.. it's a little smaller than my other favored brushes and frankly I like it a lot (no pun intended). I may look into getting another one..

I knocked off a blade because the Krona is a great shaver, just not as aggressive as I have come to desire from a shaver.

I may go ahead and round up all my razors that are not aggressive enough and put them up for sale. This will leave me with the Progress, FatBoy, Slim, Gem Featherweight, Feather Portable, 23C and my soon to be new acquisition, the Sledgehammer Slant I snagged off of Melyus this weekend.

But then again, tomorrow is another day....

First time I've used this blade in a while and I've never used one in this Super Speed...I forgot how sharp and smooth these bad-boys are...I'm always singin' their praises to everyone else while I'm getting great shaves from cheaper blades...But when I do use one like today, I remember why I love them so...IMHO...They are one of the very Special, Premium Blades along with Super Iridiums...In a class by themselves...VSOP
