Found a great store [brick & mortar and on-line] for shave soaps and creams: The Soap Opera. I've been using its store brand glycerin soaps and it lathers great with my Omega brush. When paired with shave cream they make for great superlather. I highly recommend the Himalayan soap w/shea and soy (extra rich) and the olive oil soap. Price is right, too. About $4/disc and discounts for volume buying. The store has other shave creams and soap, but I prefer the store brand. The store has a larger variety of scented soap bars using the same formula as the disc. You get a bit more with the bars, too. In case you're wondering: no, I do not work for or own the store. I'm just a fan with a serious shave soap AD.:happy023 Check them out. :happy088
Cool. SWMBO is heading up that way in November, perhaps she can stop in. Is this the place: 319 State Street Madison, WI 53703 (608) 251-4051 http://www.thesoapopera.com/cgi-bin/scart.cgi/main.php3?enter
Awesome store! They have a fairly decent selection of shaving products and they're not unreasonably priced either. I usually stock up on soap and cream on my monthly trip to Madison. State Street in Madison is also a very interesting, other-worldly experience too.
