As is stands now, this is my little travel package.
I am constantly changing my mourning routine from my place to my partners place, In order to be presentable from both I have developed this little kit.

It's a palm olive shave stick inside a plastic bottle I cut the bottom out of.
Inside that is a little steel tube which I keep pure coconut oil
The brush without handle, is kept in a boots brand shave stick top.
The bottle fits nicely into the shave stick top
The blade is wrapped in a kydex mold, (I am about to braid over this in a decorative manor)
And the bandanna obviously wraps everything up nicely, a few hair bobbles complete the package

The zippo is here for size comparison,

I am hoping to get an omega badger boar mix at some point to replace the one in this kit, and the razor will be switched out a hundred times before I am happy with one.
I carry a pigskin pouch which can be used as a strop when needs be, or my belt...

But there you go, thought some would enjoy this.

Yeah, that is a great travel kit. Sounds like it works for you.

The only thing left that I am wondering about is why do you need to be so minimalistic / compact about it if you are just traveling back and forth from your partners place???

It's not just her place, I do a lot of camping when I can and it's not even that.
I display my stuff at market stalls and places, and use public transport to get there so need to be very presentable and very light weight.
We usually manage all our clothes, food, jewellery&leather, tools, business cards, Catologues, tent, sleeping bags and everything else all in about 100 litres spread between a few packs. Only need the tents on festivals and such but as you can see, small is good.

Okay cool, I can pick up what you are putting down. I would not want to tote around any more weight than necessary either.

That's a great idea. I've had to do that too, between stays at my place and my fiancee's. Although weight isn't such an issue. I use a smallish toolbag I got from Harbor Freight. It has external pockets I don't use, but on the inside it's got several that are perfect for holding my DE, glycerin, eucalyptus oil, alum and styptic, extra blades, and a brush and I just have my soap and bowl which sit inside my lathering bowl which is just a tupperware container at the moment, shave cream and toothpaste. Any more, I just keep my gear in that bag, keeps things organized. Works like a large Dopp bag. There's plenty of room left over should I need it.

Although reading back on what I wrote, I think I could stand to take a little bit of inspiration from your minimalistic approach!
