Gillette NEW SC Personna Vulfix Sandalwood SC Rooney 3/1 Super Nivea Replenishing ASB Vulfix Sandalwood is really a great cream... not quite in the league of C&E and T&H creams, but still great scent! 4.5 Star Shave!
Thursday Morning: Brush: This one Soap: Conk Almond Razor: No Name Solingen 5/8 Round Post: Witch Hazel, CVS Old Spice After using only badgers for so long, it's going to take me a bit to get used to the boar. This one feels a bit odd too. It feels like it has a block inside to give it more stiffness. I do not like that at all. The shave itself was pretty good. Only a single WTG pass with a bit of touch up today, but still very smooth.
Hey man...sorry to hear you are under the weather....Is everything alright ? My best wishes that you feel better soon....
Thursday's Shave Hot Shower Arko SS/Arko Moist SC Omega 10029 '65 Gillette Adjustable/@4/Rapira (Day2) Arko Nem Soft Lotion Moisturizer Arko Aqua AS Splash Guerlain Habit Rouge EDT With this Rapira I have it set at 4 for a really close but still comfortable shave.Tomorrow I'll try it on 3 and 4...As I get use to the sharpness I'll lighten my touch a little more and maybe I can go back to the '40's style SS for a comfortable and super close shave...Maybe tomorrow I'll just stick a new one in the Black Tip and go at it....with as light a touch as possible..)
Brush: Very vintage Everready 400 Soap: Palmolive Stick In Vintage Everyready container Razor: 1920's Old Type Set Blade: Gillette Old Stock +3 1 pass with and 1 against the grain. Excellent shave. Always liked this razor. It's the most common design for the old types. The design is crap, of course, as the tube handles all fell apart. You really have to go through a load of split handles to find a healthy one. This one is healthy after 90 yrs!

Bruce! There is NO WAY I will ever get tired of looking at your pictures. I asked you about your camera a few months ago...I am so surprised that you are able to get these stunning pictures from a modest camera. I am still looking at getting a camera like yours...

Great picture as always Bruce! Have a fun and enjoyable time, start it with a great shave daily, but most importantly have a safe trip!
Thanks for the kind words Jeff, I remember your asking about that camera. It's a simple Sony DSC-W30 from Wally World but it takes great pics. It's probably still available and comes in very handy when traveling as well.
Thanks Bill, I'm taking my travel shave kit with me and will be SE shaving with a 1924 Ever-Ready SE travel razor, Semogue 1460 Brush and some Classic Shaving Bay Rum SS topped off with some Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue ASL. The old days of a small can of goo and a Bic are over! LOL
Very true John! The lighting is very important and will make or break your shot. Once you have the lighting down right the subjects will jump out of the shot.
