I'm returning to wet shaving and am pleased to find The Shave Den! Back in the 80s I used Franklin Toiletry Barbershop mug, brush, soaps and a Trac II all through high school, and college. A few years after college I quit as my career, marriage and three kids consumed all my time and started shaving with whatever was quickest. I don't know what happened to my mug and brush - probably tossed during a move or cleaning purge. I purchased a cheap VDH set at Walgreens a couple months ago and have been enjoying it since. I am currently using a cartridge razor but am waiting on a Gillette Tech I just purchsed on ebay. I've never used a DE razor but am excited to try it. I also found and purchased a Franklin Barbershop mug on ebay, exactly like my old one, to replace the VDH one I just purchased! I was pleased to find there are a lot of folks interested in the same things as I here. I was considered a bit odd walking through the dorm to the bathrooms with my mug and brush when I was in college. I was also pleased to discover the term for what I've been all my life - a "retrosexual".

Bill made a mistake. Rene and I trust Bill to not make mistakes. That's our mistake. And I know RzB's name now.
It is? Never knew that, we'll have to call you Drew Two. I was rushed and made the mistake of quoting my welcome from this Drew's page, and unfortunately not the first time I've had that happen. Now JoAnna is going to open up a can of whup a$$ on me, again. :scared001
