    From what I remember, Rogaine and all the rest are freaking expensive and insurance won't cover them. So I'll add another vote to:

    +1 save your money, shave it and buy a hat. And get a good quality razor if you choose to go that route. Nothing worse than the 7.99 walmart special.

    I've been shaving my head for around 10 years. It thinning unevenly and looks really goofy when I grow it out. My wife agrees with my decision. Starts making jokes about those long haired hippies when it gets too long.:happy102

    Actually.. if you're town has a good selection of hat stores this isn't a bad option. I'm transitioning from my summer fedora (aka: the hat that looks good on EVERYONE, it has to get reblocked constantly from people stealing it for the night) to the fall/winter one (a somber grey). Probably spent $60-70/each on them. Good quality.

    If your head shape is right you can pull it off.
