Gidday, I am learning to hone and purchased a 1k/8k Norton as well as a 4k King and an old Aussie leather strop. While I am home on sick leave I thought I'd learn to hone and shave with a straight razor as a move up from DE shaving. I got about 8 razors of ebay to muck about with, figuring is I screwed it up, too bad. I checked on brands before purchasing, so got stuff like Bengal, dome, Crown and sword etc. All advice will be gratefully received! Hey where do I get an Escher stone in Australia? Anyone know where to get roo leather apart from shoot one- which is fun, but messy and with the meds I'm on not too safe! What size machine screws can I use to replace dodgy pins in old razors?
