It arrived today, nice big box, I thought bloody hell they kinda went over board with the packaging.
But it was broke through the middle. Paid a fortune in shipping too.
I am so pissed right now I was looking forward to trying my hand this weekend.

Is the package insured? Who was the shipping carrier? Do they have a claims process?

The problem is it left via USPS priority shipping, but in this country it goes through Parcel force.
I'm waiting to hear what the company says and I calm down a bit.

  4. I am very sorry, and 'always good in these cases have insurance, maybe if the transported goods has some value ... They should change if the company and 'serious ....

Crisis averted, The company is sending a replacement,
Apparently they were worried about it getting here safe anyway.

Side note, Whats the best way you can probably send a small fragile hone like this?

Very nice to hear they are replacing it. That is very cool of them. One way I can think of shipping it would be to use a process like this:

I have received various computer components packaged in this way.

Who did you buy it from? It's great of them to be replacing it for you.

The safest - Hand delivered by Jason Statham I'd guess.

Glad to hear they are replacing it but I reckon its pot luck, I do think that big boxes are more likely to be tossed around though. I assume you are in the UK seeing as its parcel force, may years ago I knew a guy that worked for them he said it was an in joke that although it was on loads of parcels nine of the actually knew where the ile of Frag was, but they thought it might be near the Isle of Wight.

    What did you get BTW?

The hone I got is the 10,000 chosera for the edge pro.
I don't have an edge pro but this was the cheapest best hone I could buy that I am aware of for the price that would do the job I need it to, ie razor honing, and last long enough in doing that.

It's not jende, though I only found them recently afterwards.
    It's a different company.
The jende version is 5mm thick, mine is just 3mm thick...
My replacement has arrived too, and I would say now who the company is but I can't remember off the top of my head...
