Homemade Rootbeer

Anyone make their own? I made a batch tonight with extract and it almost seems too easy.. I am thinking of doing another batch tomorrow using splenda instead of sugar..

 

Splenda will kill ya.

It gives lab rats cancer after they shove 5 tons over 3 years down their throats. :rofl

Back to the topic, never made sody pop, I may have to look into it.

 

It should be ready in 1-2 weeks... I can't wait to try it!

 

once I have it ready, I can just keep making it and putting it in the basement and letting it sit.. so it will only be the first batch that tries my patience...

 

I would have the will to do it if I could spike it.

It has Vodka in it. How bad can it be. JUST DO IT!

 

This thread reminds me of The Root Beer Lady. Alas, I never had a chance to try some of her root beer during the many trips that I made there.

 

I make beer beer. I was getting quite good at it, but I moved and sold most of my Equipment.

Love the process though. I also make Yogurt.
