Today I opened my front door and found a tube of Godrej shave cream on my front step. No delivery box or note, just the box the tube comes in. I was flabbergasted until I remembered asking a neighbor who is Indian if there were any Indian stores nearby and telling them what I was looking for. This was 6 months ago and I had forgotten about it. Well they didn't and when they made a trip to Tampa for Indian goods they remembered. Great folks, can't wait to try it out.
That's my kind of neighbor.... mine here just mostly throw things in my yard for me to pick up. Hope you enjoy the cream.
It was the regular scent. They knew I did not like menthol and were not sure I would like the Sandlewood, which I would have but I never mentioned it as I did not know it existed.
I had to go out and break up a fight between some of my neighbors the other morning at 4am... try that out for fun.
all my neighbors are nice. no fighting drinking or partying at all. just people walking their dogs and stuff.
Godrej is a pretty good cream for under 2 bucks. The scents are kind of artificial but nothing nasty. They all contain lanolin which helps a lot. The three flavors I know about are Regular, Lime and Menthol. Maybe the regular has hints of Sandalwood though I never got that from it. Anyway good score, good neighbor and good shaves.
I decided to try the Godrej Deluxe after reading this thread and some other reviews. Just bought is for a little over $3 at a local indian super market. I'm looking forward to trying it and hoping i have found a good budget cream. P.S I looked for the Sandlewood to try it. I didn't find it or the Menthol Mist.
I have heard good things about this cream and am thinking about picking some up. Don't have an Indian store in my area so my best bet would be to buy a tube online at about $5 shipped to my door. Wish I had neighbors that gave me things
My neighbors have left stuff on our doorstep that went unnoticed for a day or two because we always go in and out of the garage. Never had any shaving cream left though. -CZ
Awesome neighbors! The best thing I got from a neighbor was a freshly baked pie. Can't complain because it was a tasty cherry pie.
We're a family of 4 kids (i'm the third at 16) and our neighbor sends us delicacies left over from her parties :happy023
