Tuesday Prep: wash face with Kell's Hemp/Aloe Unscented stick Soap: same Brush: Omega Imitation Badger Razor: Merkur Progress Blade: Feather (1st day) A/S: Kiss My Face unscented moisturizer rubbed on my face while still wet after cold water rinse. Very smooth shave. Three passes with touch up. I'm cautious with a Feather blade: I like the smoothness and closeness of the shave, but I still feel just slightly more irritated afterward than when I use my favorite Iridiums. Maybe I just need more practice with a very light touch. This is the second Feather blade I've tried.
For Tuesday 16 November. A nice hot shower. Parker brush nicely warmed up, warm Arko Shave Stick lather. For today's shave I choose a Gillette Fat Boy, loaded with a Persona Red. The pass setting was #6, followed by a 2nd pass on #4. Afterwards I splashed on Clubman Pinaud Vanilla fololwed by an after shave balm. End results an exceptional BBS.
Absolutely! After taking what I thought I knew about wet shaving and dumping it, I soon figured out how little I really knew. The super speeds and krona were great mild learning tools to get my technique down, with simple creams and soap to actually learn how to make great lather. Now it's all peachy!!
