Soaked brush while I took a shower

Brush: Eterna Pure Bristle (just found this in the back of a cabinet while clearing out some clutter)
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Razor: Feather Portable loaded with a fresh Zorrik Super Stainless
Rinse and air dry followed with wife's face lotion (Jergen's Overnight repair)

This is the second brand of blade I've tried, and it felt a lot smoother than the derby, but it could just be that I'm getting better at this. It's only been a week after all. Also, this brush is a lot stiffer than the old one I've been using, so that could be doing something. Still having trouble getting really close right underneath my jawline. The changing angles are throwing me off.

The Sputniks are super-sharp blades, and they seem to work very well in my Super Speed. I want to see how many shaves I can get from them. This shave was very smooth and close, and thank goodness, I had no trouble.

Verification that the same blade in a different razor can give different result. This was the same blade I used yesterday in the NEW for a so-so shave. Today in the Slim gave a great shave.

Great shave with this blade, but it looks like it's already rusting after the first shave. May as well use these up as long as I've got them. The Old Spice Soap gives an excellent lather.

Very nice DFS (almost BBS) shave today. I'm finding that both the Treet Durasharp and the Treet Platinum Super Stainless are blades that I like. The old formula Body Shop cream performed like a champ and a quick splash of Pashana Bay Rum was just the ticket for a fine finish.

1st pass:N-S....2nd pass:S-N, with razor buffing...3rd pass:N-S, not nessasary, but to polish an already close shave....Still irritation free so why not?

The Avocado SC arrived yesterday and I LOVE it. It has a nice almost floral scent, although Jeff said it smelled like the guts of pumpkin rolleyes .. He meant that in a good way ....

This is the second type of Super-Max blade that I've tried and it was an awesome shave ... glided right up my leg. I wonder if I can get as many shaves out of this type as I did out of the other?

Now, off on a day trip to Gainesville to see a man about a sandwich!
