I love this scene. It was one of my favorites of the whole movie.

 

That was a terrific short that you posted Racso_MS, I could not image living in an occupied country. That was a powerful piece of cinematography.

 

For a minute there I thought the video was going to start looking like some of my initial shavette endeavors The barber should have given that Nazi a Filipino haircut when he had the chance.

 

I wonder if that's what inspired Looney Tunes to do the "rabbit of seville" routine.

 

Funny, my son said the same thing. If memory serves, Bugs' results were nowhere near as bloodless and Mr. Chaplin's. How they filmed that scene without a drop of blood is a mystery to me. You can see the guy in the chair flinching with every pass :happy102

 

Probably just a dull razor and good acting.
