Yay rose stuff! Here's my stuff from my Secret Santa! TAYLOR OF BOND! That's one of the ones I hadn't tried, so I'm excited! It's a very beautiful rose scent, I don't know how long it's going to last on me, but I love it. PERFECT for my legs! Sadly I think the bottle of rose cologne might have been shaken too badly in the mail (no fault of my Santa; thanks USPS! :X) because some had been leaking. Thankfully my Santa had it in a Ziploc bag and it didn't get everywhere. Smells really good too! I added a cap to my bathwater; delicious. THANK YOU, SANDY CLAWS! Also of note, apologies to my recipient if it doesn't arrive on time....I'm worried now.

Heated blankets are awesome! Though my wife is what I jokingly call a 'firecracker' and I don't need one now that we got together. But they sure came in handy when I was sleeping alone

I got my Secret Santa gift in the mail! Got some really nice cinnamon/lime soap, a puck of almond Col. Conk, a sample of Wilkinson-Sword shaving cream, 2 packs of Swedish Gillette blades (as I hear it, Swedes are hard to find and really really good), and 1 pack of Gillette Bleue (did I spell that correctly?) blades. Great stuff! Thank you so much, whoever you are! EDIT: By the way, it aggravates me to no end that the post office requires you to put a return address on an express mail package. I realize its probably for safety but it kind of kills the Secret Santa thing. Guess I should have been on the ball with it.
Received my package a few days ago, thanks so much to the sender! Taylor of Old Bond Cream, Speick Cream and a Nana June's Peppermint puck. I've never used any of these yet and took the Taylor's for a run as soon as the package was in my door. FANTASTIC! I've never been one to be able to hold off until Christmas :ashamed001. Again thanks so much to Santa for this one, and I'll enjoy a rum and eggnog just for him.(or her)
happy093 My Secret Santa gift arrived today and all I can say is ... I'm Speechless ... I had asked for a shaving brush (Omega Ruby Red), but received a brush that is so much nicer. THANK YOU!! A snippet of the note that was enclosed "this brush was hand-made especially for you. There is no other like it in the world. The bristles are Silvertip badger hair and the handle is made of a very unique piece of Padauk.". An awesome gift, thank you Secret Santa for your kindness and generosity. It is much appreciated and YES, I will enjoy this brush for many Christmas' to come.

I've been out of town for two weeks I got my gift in the mail today. My wife got it from the po on her way to work, she says I won't have to buy soaps or creams for a very long time thank you santa! I will post again with pictures and my thoughts when I get the gift in my hands.
My Secret Santa gift came today in the mail and POW! took me right by surprise! Aaaaaaaalll this goodness: Art of Shaving Sampler Derby extra 5 pack Maroma Cedar Lavender Soap and finally the...Parker 91r? Not sure actually, but this is what google tells me. In any case, THIS RAZOR IS A BEAST! Just used it (with a derby extra) and plain and simple: it is a great razor. When I was looking for my first DE, I was checking out many of the newer brands, but it just so happened that I got an old SuperSpeed and then kind of kept going in that direction. Since then I've acquired a whole collection of vintage razors, and they do feel great, don't get me wrong. But this razor feels...different. Here's a few choice words I'm going to throw out there: MASS. HEFT. BAALLLAAANCE. EXTREMELY SHINY. STRAIGHT UP GORGEOUS. Seriously, it's a wonderful razor. Perfectly balanced, aggressive yet easy to use, you can really just sit back and let gravity do the work. Everything about it makes me feel like a rich man. Sorry about the lengthy review...but I just had a really nice shave and I'm feelin gooooood. So a big thank you to my personal Santa, whoever you are. You hit the nail on the head with this one.

It looks like everyone received their Secret Santa Gifts... :happy096 I believe Bill said there was a total of 10 participants. This was a lot of fun, in the giving and the receiving. I can hardly wait till next Christmas. I do think we should start this a little earlier this year, Considering our members are from all points on the globe And our mailing systems are less than desirable.
