Greetings from the Pittsburgh area. A wet shave newbie who started wet shaving about 4 months ago. I had really started to enjoy wet shaving when my lungs became showered with blood clots and I was put on two kinds of blood thinners. After a week in the hospital, the nurses were reviewing my discharge instructions, which included switching to an electric razor. I was heart broken. My first outpatient visit with my hematologist was about week after being discharged. We were discussing my getting back to normal activities and I mentioned about hating the electric razor. She asked what that meant and I explained wet shaving. First, she said that there is no reason why I could continue wet shaving!! As much as a nuisance bleeding is while you are on blood thinners, a nick while shaving isn't going to cost me my life, so she said shave away. Then she asked me more about wet shaving as she thought it might be something her husband would enjoy. As soon as I got home from my doc visit, I broke out my wet shaving gear and packed away the electric razor!
Welcome from Patriots land Sorry to hear about your medical trials but I'm glad they gave you the green light to keep wetshaving. Enjoy your stay with us. There are a bunch of great people here!
First off, welcome to the Den. I think you'll enjoy your visits here. Secondly, I'm so glad that you got the medical clearance to get back to wet shaving. I never gave it much thought until reading your post, that a medical condition could restrict someone from shaving, but it makes sense. So, welcome aboard!
Welcome to TSD! Glad to hear you're able to have great shaves once again. I pray your lungs heal quickly and fully.
Welcome to the Den! Enjoy your stay here and continued Happy Shaving to you! Good luck with your ongoing recovery. :signs046
PITTSBURGH! *ptooey*::sesel Go Ravens! I mean welcome to TSD! Glad you are able to shave properly again Just kidding, I don't even watch/follow football, just familiar with the rivalry.
Shaving crosses all barriers. Welcome to the Den from a Loyal long term season ticket holding Browns fan.
During football season, yes. I bleed black and gold - all the way to hopefully the Steelers 7th heaven! But since I grew up in St Louis, I bleed Cardinal Red during baseball season. :happy102
Choke down a nice Primanti sandwich and get ready for both the Eagles and Phillies to win it all. Oh and welcome from the opposite end of the state.
