    Neutrogena Razor Defense Face Scrub
    VDH Deluxe
    Vulfix 247 Pure Badger
    Merkur 11c Open Comb
Wilkinson Sword (2nd Shave, arm stropped)
    Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel
    Neutrogena Triple Protect Face Cream

Remarks: I was in such a hurry today that I couldn't do any of my regular pre-shave routines like soaking brush, hot towel treatment etc. I just did a very quick two pass, WTG and then XTG/ATG combined. After that, I did some touch ups at certain areas as long as I could afford. Half way into the first pass I realized that I didn't even apply my Proraso pre-shave, but then decided not to. The funny thing is that although the result was far from BBS, my face looked much better because I did not get all the redness and bumps that I usually get when I go over the same area way too many times.

    Saturday:

The cataract surgery went perfectly, thank God--so here I am again!

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Super Speed/Gillette Rubie day 3
Viking Sensitive SC :love008 :love008 :freezing :freezing
    Viking Blue Ice AS Balsam :love008 :love008 :love008 :love008

I cannot believe how mentholated this Viking Sensitive cream is--it is about as cooling as Gada Cool Mint, or Williams Menthol. The lather is a pleasure to work with, and the Viking Blue Ice balsam has such a nice scent. It also has allantoin, which soothes and protects a sensitive skin so well.

Once again, I feel great to be back even sooner than I expected, but I must to rest well for a couple of more days. ;) :D

The shave with this razor on Wednesday was just incredible so I gave it an encore today. BBS in 2 passes but I did a third just for fun.

Saturday - it's the weekend! :happy069 Time for the SEs!

Prep: 30 minute marinade with TSD ISZ PSB, strop str8, hot shower
Coffee: Cafe Molido Santo Domingo, BLACK
    Strop: VB 2" Black Latigo/linen
    Soap: TSD SOTQ B1
    Brush: C&E Best Badger
Str8: Boker S.S. Spirit of St. Louis, 3+ passes
Post: Cold water rinse, Dickenson's WH, Curve
    'Stache Wax: Steve's Own

    Shave Rating: 5 Blades

This Boker never fails to give a good shave, especially when paired with any of JoAnna's soaps. I learned a few shaves ago that if I'm using a str8, I should be using a TSD soap.

Wasn't too sure on the scent of B1 off the puck, but lathered up it smells real nice. As far as SOTQ, I'll put this one in as tied for second in my book with Barber Shoppe. A4, Burmese Wood, still holds top spot for me.

    Saturday's Shave:
    Hot Wet Towel
    Arko Shave Stick
    Omega 10029 Baby-Pro Boar
    Eversharp-Schick I2/CVS Personna Day3
    Arko Nem Mango Mandalina moisturiser
    Arko Aqua AS Splash

I couldn't shave on Friday, and as any of you who knows me, knows, thats never my choice... Just no time til 8:00 PM and on Saturday morning I have to shave at 7:00 AM because I teach a 9 AM class on the other-side of town. So I forced myself to wait til Saturday morning...
One WTG pass and one ATG touch-up pass and a perfect BBS was acheived...12 hours later still no sign of shadow...and never any sign of irritation...:happy108
The skin on my neck is clean, smooth, and feels like a blade has never touched it...:))

Thanks so much, my dear friend. I feel good, but I need a good amount of rest, so I don't make the eye weak.

    Gillette Slim Adjustable
    Wilkinson Classic (1)
    TGN SilverTip Badger
    Proraso Sensitive Shave Cream
    Nivea Sensitive AS Balm
    Aqua Velva Musk AS

Today was my first shave with an adjustable - What a great razor! I set it at 9 right off the bat to see what it could do...let's just say for most of my face, passes 2 and 3 were merely a formality. I ran it down my face once WTG and it took aaaalll the hair off. Then I tacked the neck with the razor down to 5 and finished the pass. 2nd pass I did more neck work set at 1, and an ATG pass on the face back at 9, and the 3rd pass was touch up at 5. I know it was all over the place (and I definitely paid for it in a few spots where I got cocky), but I love the concept of being able to well...ADJUST the level of aggressiveness based on what you're shaving. And it feels great in your hand. I'm hooked!

    Razor: Edwin Jagger DE86
    Blade: Feather New Hi-Standard Platinum
    Shaving Cream: Irisch Moos
    Lather Bowl: Ceramic
    Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
    Brush: Omega Professional Boar
    Astringent: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
    Aftershave/Cologne: Brute Original Cologne
    Results: Out of this World!!!!

Got my contraband shipment in the mail the other day and couldn't wait to try this stuff out this morning. I had an early meeting so I shaved and just now got a chance to post. The Irisch Moos Shave Cream is fantastic! The scent is terrific and the performance is outstanding. I have used the EJ DE86 razor a couple of times since I got it and it felt great with my standard Dorco Platinum ST300 blade but, this morning I put a fresh Feather Blade in the EJ 86 and WOW! This had to be the best shave I have ever gotten! I have some new Astras and Crystal blades to try as well but, I can now see how mediocre those Dorco Blades were. Amazing difference; BBS in two passes with another pass thrown in just because it felt so wonderful. My skin is slick as glass! Topped everything off with the Old Fave Brute Original Cologne and will feel like a King all day long. Great shaves shown today everyone, thanks for sharing! :happy005
