    Happy Wednesday From Florida!

    Hot Shower
    RAB Scuttle
    PanChango 24MM Blue
    Musgo Real SC
    R.V. Injector G "Sir Grapefellow"
    Pella Blade (3)
    Cold Water Rag
    Anherb ASG
    Grey Flannel AS

    3 Passes = 4 Blade DFS!

PanChango / Dale re-knotted a few brushes for me. The blue one is a 24MM TGN Finest knot and it is indeed fine! Not a single hair lost on the first use with it and the knot whips up a great lather and releases it just as easily as well. This is a fandamtastic brush Dale!

    Have a great day Ya'll!

    Prep: Hot shower, soak brush
Coffee: Costa Rica Royal Tarrazu, BLACK
    Soap: TSD Lemon & Cedarwood
    Brush: Treville Daxer

Post: Cold water rinse, B&BW Oak, hand strop blade
    'Stache Wax: Steve's Own

A great shave knocked down a notch only because I had every intention of splashing on some Osage Rub. Got to thinking about something else and forgot about it. I hate it when that happens!

    Blade: Crystal Super Platinum
    Shaving Cream: Speick
    Lather Bowl: Ceramic
    Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
    Brush: Omega Professional Boar

    Aftershave/Cologne: Adidas Dynamic Pulse
    Results: Slick BBS and comfortable!

First time using the Crystal Blades and they are definately a cut (sorry about that) above the Dorco's that I have been using. Very smooth and comfortable after three passes and the Speick SC is wonderful. Great shaves shown this week Gentlemen, thanks for sharing! :happy005

    Razor: EJ Chatsworth
    Blade: Treet Durasharp
    Brush: Simpson Colonel X2L
Cream: Portman Square "Notting Hill" cream/soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Speick ASB

A fine shave this morning. The distinctions between "firm cream", "soft soap", and "cream/soap" elude me, but the Portman Square consistency seems to me to be similar to that of Valobra (not the stick). In any case, it easily makes a nice, creamy, protective lather. The Speick balm provided an excellent finish before I headed outside to clear the snow from my driveway.

    Wednesday morning:

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Super Speed/Gillette Rubie day 2
Tet-a-tet SC (love it to death!)
Tet-a-tet AS Balsam (love it to death!)
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Chabrawichi 555 Cologne

Another great shave with one of my top favorite creams. Tet-a-tet cream and aftershave balsam treat my skin so nicely. Very few brands can top or even match this stuff. ;) :D

Today's shave didn't really add up to what I'd hoped for unfortunately...a little bit of burnination lingers. I kept the slim on 1 until the last pass, and I think it was just too mild. Pretty close though. I'll still give it a 3/5.

    • Tolsom Facial Cleanser
    • Hot Towel with Pantene Pro-V on Face
    • Proraso Pre-Post Cream
    • Vulfix 247 Pure Badger
    • VDH Deluxe, face lathered, brush reloaded on each pass
    • Merkur 11c Open Comb
    • Derby Extra (2nd and last shave, stropped on arm)
    • Cold Water Rinse
    • Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel
    • Neutrogena Triple Protect Facial Lotion

Remarks: I am trying the blades in the blade sampler package that I recently acquired. This is my second shave with Derby Extra. I did my usual North-South, South-North and Ear-Nose passes. Just like the first time, it was a very uncomfortable shave. This time, the blade started pulling the whiskers instead of cutting them; I don't think I will even shave a third time with this blade. Once you get past the bleeding and the burning, the result is not that bad actually; but again it is a very uncomfortable shave. I don't think this blade is for me at all.

This shave was absolutely epic! Three passes face and dome (both BBS+). As you can see the slow goat from West Palm Beach arrived yesterday. This stuff smells fantastic! Yeah, on a scale of 1 to 5 I'd give this shave about a 47. And now to screw up a perfect day, I'll get dressed and go to work :D

    Happy Thursday From Florida!

    QCS Celestial Woods Croap
    EJDE89L

    3 Passes = 4 Blade DFS!

The QCS Celestial Woods is a great product and the scent is very pronounced. If I owned the company, I would rename the Celestial Woods to Gin and Tonic, because for me, I get a Juniper and Lime punch in the nose, which is fine by me!

    Have a great day Ya'll!
