Got this stuff from Britva.eu a while ago. I was lucky to get the last tube. I really like the scent. It's Limonene that gives it the smell. I really digg this cream because only a little creates a really smooth, slick lather. I would say it compares to the Nivea shave cream. I reviewed a little bit ago. I prefer Florena Just because of the Scent. I just wish I could find another source because they don't carry it anymore. not that I'm running out any time soon... It also makes some funky peaks.

They are not identical but similar. Beiersdorf is the parent company of Florena and obviously produces the Nivea brand.

Yes they are quite similar. In Canada the Nivea brand replaced the Florena brand a few years back.

About a year ago i got a Nivea shave cream in a pharmacy that had a sticker on the tube saying"previously know as Florena"
So i guess they are not so different.

I prefer the Florena to the Nivea, but that's me. I know some other guys who hate Florena, but love Nivea.

I'm glad somebody finally brought up Florena on the forum. I got a tube from a friend in Germany. My first time using it was OK, but that was just a fluke. Ever since then, I have had excellent results from Florena. I'm told it's very affordable in Europe, but I can't find it anywhere.

I only have a tiny bit left and really hope I can find some more! It's great stuff!

Florena used to be so popular here in Canada, but for some reason, the company stopped shipping it here. I always enjoyed it.

I'm planning to buy more Florena. I know a guy in Germany who is willing to pick up shaving items for me that I can't easily get here in the U.S.

Florena is one of the cheap creams that I plan to stock up on!
I have never seen the Nivea before. Is it a cheaper cream? I would definitely try it if it's affordable.

In Canada the sticker on the Nivea did say it was replacing Florena however the two creams have always been different in appearance, scent and ingredients. They do share similar characteristics but definitely are and always have been two distinct creams.

Yes, Nivea and Florena are now made by the same corporation (Beidersdorf) but they are distinct creams.

Also, the pic at the top looks like the Nivea cream that's made in India.

I received a couple of Florena tubes directly from Germany. I plan on keeping one of them for myself, and I am required to give away the other one to my salesman. It goes to him tomorrow morning. I should have kept my mouth shut about these tubes! :happy097:

I can still purchase the Florena here in Paris Ontario at a independent drug store
I will have to ask the pharmacist where he is purchasing it
The camomile has a fantastic fragrance and preferred over the Nivea

You can call for info, possibly order @ Tel: 01805 356736 in Germany

I am lucky because my friend in Germany emailed me, and said he'll send me another 3 or 4 tubes if I want! :happy108:
