Today I finally received a week late 200 Derby extra's from amazon.com I can't complain at 200 for $16.98 free shipping! Makes my favorite blade the cheapest however I won't use usps again. I think its worth the extra couple bucks for the better quicker service. Unfortunately on most items I've found on amazon that have free shipping you can't pay extra for usps. That said I have decided to take a break from buying shaving stuff. The whole reason why I got into wetshaving was to save money. But its addictive! So shaving shoppaholichs must start.
Yes, USPS is terrible at shipping. I'm really annoyed by their tracking numbers more than anything. What's the point in paying for a tracking number when it never updates?! I would love to support USPS because I know they are going broke but their services are extremely subpar
USPS does suck, they have miss placed many shaving orders I've made. once they took 3 months to deliver a package. my booters aftershave had spilled.
Maybe the reason they're going broke is the poor service, and it's not like their employees are underpaid.
I use USPS priority mail.. $4.95 and I use their boxes. I have never had a problem. I mail and rec a bunch of stuff.. shave, pipes, cigars, flies, etc..
I love USPS. And have never had a problem, shipping nor receiving. I had to pay $20 shipping the other day, for something that doesn't even weigh a pound and isn't hazardous. All because this company chooses to ship UPS or Fedex. And no I had no other option. They are the only supplier I have found that carries this item I need. And UPS and Fedex are rougher with packages in my experience.
Are y'all kidding? USPS is the reason I am able to keep my cool when getting packages. They're also super fast and cheap. I'll be damned when I have a problem. In fact, I've sent nearly over 100+ items with 0 problems.
I have to admit I may of been exaggerating when I said they sucked. But I have had several Issues with them. every city is different. when I had my office in Montclair. I really had no problems. But in Rancho Cucamonga they have issues.
Let me also digress; regarding receiving packages, they are fine. Shipping times are pretty good, package always arrives as it should. Tracking number, not so good. That's my complaint.
I have always used USPS to ship and receive with no problems. My postman is always on time for delivery in the morning. I will always support the USPS. My sis and bro n law worked their for almost 30 years each. They were working class folks who benefitted from the middle class wages and benefits of the government job. That in turn allowed them to push their own kids through college and into the middle class. That kind of job is gone and part of the reason class mobility is so fixed now. I worked for UPS for 2 weeks. The 4am to 8am shift. Through the work organization UPS figured out how to cram 12 hours of physical labor into 4 hours of work.Every second of every minute was constant no stopping movement until your 15 minute break . " Don't wimp out and give us at least 30 days'" was a actual quote in ORIENTATION, that told you how much they valued you and the wages and hours meant I was staying poor. Receiving a package ain't worth all that .
I have always had good luck with USPS priority mail. Seems whenever I use Amazon's free shipping it takes 2 weeks to get my order. If I place my Amazon order and pay a vendor for shipping I get it in a couple days.
Orifice reducers. They're the little plastic pieces that go in the aftershave milk bottles to regulate the amount that comes out.
sounds like something a plastic surgeon, proctologist, or gynecologist might order. i can see the tv ads now......
I ordered the same blades and it took only 2 days to get them in OH with USPS. I wouldn't hesitate to order again as they are a good blade at a great price.
