Wednesday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/7 O'Clock day 2 Viking Sensitive SC :love008 :love008 :freezing :freezing Svoboda AS Balsam :love008 :love008 :freezing :freezing Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EDT A terrific shave today, although I got a very small weeper on the right side high up. I'd say it was my fault because I was in a bit of a hurry. The Svoboda balsam not only cools, it also works great to heal nicks and cuts, and it feels so soothing.
Today I used my standard soaps and AS's with my 1965 Slim Adjustable set @5/with an Astra SP day2....Got a very close shave, but during my second pass I'm noticing weepers leaking through my lather... During my touch-up, everywhere the blade touched hurt...I think it's a blade issue...But now 2 hours later the shave was extemely close but too much irritation... Tomorrow it's back to my Schick I2, where I know I'll be treated kindly and with respect...) I was going to use the Schick today but because of my blade availability paranoia I've been trying to rotate around more than I actually want to...) Screw that!! I've got several months worth of blades (thanks Stingraysrock), and stock-piling injectors is a high priority...and I'm just gonna DIG this Schick I2 Injector as much as I want !!! LOL
Happy Wednesday From Florida! Hot Shower RAB Scuttle Omega Boar #10051 QCS Vetiver Croap W&B 8/8 Chopper - Scales By Glen Cold Water Rag Arko Sensitive ASC Florida Water 3 passes = 3 Blade DFS! Note to self: when using a straight razor that has a sharp point in addition to a sharp edge, be careful to not poke yourself in the ear! I can see why round tip razors are a good choice for a beginner! Here I am concentrating on getting my shave angle dialed in and what do I do? Yalp, poked myself in the ear, right where you normally would shave off side burns, except I dang dear shaved off my ear! Have a great day Ya'll!

Parker 91r Derby Extra (1) TGN Silvertip Badger TSD Pink Grapefruit soap/Dalain D'men cream Superlather Brut AS L'Oreal ComfortMax AS Balm After a two day hiatus I decided to tackle my unseemly growth with the tank that is the 91r. Took a couple extra passes, but wound up with a terrific shave. Whenever I screw up my lather with the TSD grapefruit (it's a little more finicky than others) I drop in a little dab of the D'men and it always comes out big and awesome, so I never really regret the mistake...4 or 5 passes, 4.5 blades.
