Hi, I am relatively new to de razors. I received my starter blade for x-mas from my mother. It had belonged to my dad. It is a gillette adjustable TTO. It seems to have been working well. For blades I have tried merkur, derby and feathers. So far I like the feathers the best. The derby seemed to drag and the merkur's chopped me up. The feather's were like a hot knife through butter. I am looking to expand my shaver and accessory collection and try a few new razors, soaps, and accessories. Thanks
Welcome to TSD! Once you get a few posts in, post up a picture of that razor and we'll get it identified for you. I often use a Super Speed that belonged to my Great-grandfather who used it when he decided to quit keeping a straight. The family connections can be a great bonus in this hobby.
it's a super adjustable (http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierertypen/Rasierertypen-11.jpg) And it looks in very good shape. Enjoy it!

Welcome to TSD! This is the best wet shave board on the planet! The black handle super adjustable is one that I have not tried yet, but it is on the list!
Great and welcome aborad. I began my journey about year ago. I have enjoyed immensely learning how to shave properly. I enjoy my morning ritual and look forward to each day. For myself it has only improved and more enjoyable.
