I'm new here, virgin face still in the hunt for a DE!!! I think I'll try and score a Gillette Tech as my first, that and some feather blades!!!
Welcome to TSD! I'd recommend a sample pack of blades rather than just trying what you've heard the best reports about. Opinions on blades varies widely even among experienced wet shavers and you really need to try them out for yourself.

welcome and enjoy. Tech yes, feathers maybe not so much. A feather nearly ate my face off my second DE shave because I didnt have the right form so proceed with caution.
