creams from India?

I have a colleague coming back from India in a few days.
Are there any creams I should have her bring back for me?

Deffo bring back as much Godrej as she can carry!

 

Godrej is a treasure--any of the different scents.

 

I'm still trying to get over the loss of Morison' s Shave Cream. That was one of my favorites and was easily as good as some of the above mentioned creams in my humble opinion. I don't see it any place. If it can still be had in India grab some.

 

and the indian oldspice cologne is not the same as the stuff in the states so get some of that to

I have 3 of the Godrej creams Lime, Menthol Mist and Rich Foam all very good

 

I love Godrej and I always have some around but..... I can buy it locally for $3.00 / tube at an Indian grocery along with Old Spice and Dettol. Unless it was really cheap go for something that you can't get here.

I would stock up on Godrej Deluxe lather. It's a great shave. Just my opinion...have fun trying them all!

Anherb Gel

While this does not fit your orignial inquiry, I like Anherb After Shave Gel. I am pretty sure it is from India. It is very cooling as it contains menthol and camphor, dries fast, and leaves a pleasant scent. Of course YMMV.

 

YUP. If you like menthol i think you will love the menthol Godrej. It is one of my favorite menthol cream so far.

Amazed

When I first got into this I was amazed at the amount of creams and cosmetics that come from India. Before I never would have looked at india as a cosmetic producing country but believe me, quite a lot of stuff comes out of there.

 

I used the Anherb aftershave conditioner this morning after my shave. It has a different scent than the gel, and it is very, very cooling, and not only that--it is very moisturizing and SOOTHING.

 

I got my Godrej in the mail today and tried it tonight! I plopped a small dollop of the cream on top of my VDH puck in the apothecary mug and it lathered up real night, got five passes out of the lather (I didn't realize I was on my fifth go around with the Gillette super thin blade in my razor). I used my Vie Long Horse Hair brush and I got a nice, creamy thick white lather.

The scent wasn't very strong. However, the price was right and I'm really starting to enjoy using creams more and more.

 

I definitely have to get that next time I order!

Dettol is nice as well. I've tried the "Fresh" which is their lime; it does a fine job. The "Cool" variety is supposed to be menthol.
