Razor and brush stand?

Any suggestions for a combined brush/razor stand to suit a DE89L and C&E pure badger shaving brush? I've looked at a few online, but most seemed to be designed for cartridge razors - at least, they don't seem to have left room for a DE razor head and/or shorter handle.

 

Here's a couple I bought from here from The Superior Shave. About halfway down the page, listed as Omega 206-n and 226 razor/brush stands. 206-n is the black one, 226 is the chrome one. $22.75 shipped to Australia.

Most wet shaving store sites i have seen have them for DE. However if the stand is tall you could just slide in acartridge razor as well. The price ranges drastically from 10 dollars for a cheap acrylic brush stand do 100 for a silver one with led lights that spins. :happy102

I would say check out west coast shaving they seem to have a wide selection. Find what you want then shop around for a bit to find he best price for you.

 

I have this one. Holds a Merkur HD and brush easily.

There's a guy selling ceramic stands on E-Bay, not an auction but a Buy It Now offer. It in the shape of a mug "he calls it a caddy" and hold a brush and 2 razors. Only connection I have with him is I have one on order.
Just do a search on E-Bay for razor and brush holder.

 

I have one from Cutting Edge Razors; they're inexpensive and pretty well made. Mine has room for two razors and two brushes. They'll also do custom jobs.

 

How do they know what size brush slot one will need? What brushes do you keep in your dual job?

If you want a stand just for the razor, I highly recommend Bob from bobsrazorworks or cooncatbob.

 

I bought a pipe stand off of EBay and customized it. I opened up one hole by cutting away the front part. This allows my brush to slide in and yet still be held in place once it's in. You can make the opening whatever size you need to fit your brush handle. I left the other hole as it was and my razor fits perfectly. Since you can get pipe stands that hold multiple razors you could really go wild with it.
