Finally decided to join up. I've only been wet shaving regularly for about 8 months or so. My current obsession is hunting vintage DE's in the wild flea-markets of upstate NY. I've just begun to research str8's, but I'm trying to hold off on this until I can finally use a DE without looking like I shaved with a broken bottle of Maddog 20/20. After drinking said bottle. On a moving bus. Going down a very bumpy road. I think I've made my point. Some of you might know me from occassionally the other forum, usually about razors I buy for a dollar from strange men who wear far too much denim. I look forward to boring the hell out of all of you with stories about me rooting through other people's junk, then using my finds to wrecklessly hack away at my face like an dermatillomaniac on meth. In short, looks like I'm your problem now.
Sometimes I let my addic-er- hobby bleed into my weekdays. Like just now. Things were slow at the office so I took off to go look at some leads at a local antique shop. I'll be posting about that once I get some pictures of my acquisitions.
Welcome to the Den! I'm hitting the flea market tomorrow, but I doubt it will be productive razor wize.
Yes. That face, that story, that habit of buying razors for a dollar from strange men who wear far too much denim. Yes, I know you! Welcome to the cozy confines of The Shave Den. Find a comfortable leather recliner and set a spell.
Welcome to The Shave Den, a great community of guys and gals that enjoy wet shaving, I hope you enjoy your stay!
Understand that completely. I'm in outside sales, and sometimes its hard to just drive by an antique store thinking there could lie waiting inside that priceless treasure that is just calling for me.
