Never heard of them. You never know, as I understand it the Japanese make fine razors. The few I have honed took incredible edges, but they were not like that one.
Looks like a shavette type, closer to a neck shaver, but similar to the Feather ones. I know Kai makes well regarded shavette razors, but they don't look anything like that.
Kai makes everything from Kershaw pocket knives to Shun kitchen knives, so they may indeed make great razors.
