Very nice and excellent price! Get you some clear fingernail polish and coat the red-tip. The paint will last a very long time that way.
I forgot to say if you're going to actually use it to shave with. If not and it's just for collecting, then leave it as is. It's the soap chemicals and water that eventually take the paint off.
Oh, it's gonna get used! I'm really not much of a collector...my reasonable side knows I have more razors than I actually need (but much fewer now than I have had in the past). I think I'm under 10 now, and all are in irregular rotation. Nothing against collectors -- I just don't have the space.
Thank you, sir -- I've had a half-dozen of them over the past few years but never one in near mint shape. If only I had a boy to pass it on to instead of 2 girls. Ah well.
You know, I have tried both my legs :ashamed001 and my armpits since starting this hobby. It is weird when you shave your legs....like a numb feeling but not, just strange. I use alum for deodorant and for some reason it seems to make me break out on my pits when I shave them. I had to stop or return to using the pit stick with the aluminum in it.
Nick, By any chance were you in the GSO area? I ask b/c of the Milord and the brush. I'd seen a pair that looked similar to those in a store there before. Nice finds anyway! Hope you enjoy!
Sanitized it yesterday, used it this morning with a Silver Star blade. Excellent results. Nothing like that Red Tip grip.
I've never heard of Seaforth, looks stunning though even if you don't use them and just have em on the counter.
thats a good looking mug...im waiting for the weather to cool down so i can hit some fairs & festivals w/ the wife..most have mud slingers & their wares there
