I can dig it...Man on a mission...Me too!! And I don't blame you...looks like a pretty sweet kit you used today...I hear those Twin Blades work great in the Gillette Injector...Word on the Street is thats a BAD set-up... and the Lime and Lavender up-front and and out-back to seal the deal...I hear ya...

 

I have decided to join Injectors week as well. I have five Injectors to choose from: Type E, Type I Hydromagic, Type L, Type M Adjustable, and a Gillette Twinjector.

Today's shave was:

Monday June 27th, 2011L 1st day of Injector Week!

-Schick Type M Injector w/ Personna blade. Set @ 4 with 3 shaves on blade.
-Custom brush with 20mm Silvertip from Whipped Dog
-Vitos Green SC
-Dickeson's Witch Hazel scent w/ Rose Water
-Barbasol Brisk
-Grey Flannel (aquatic version)

Overall a very nice shave (but shaves with Injectors always are), with just one cut to my upper lip.

 

Monday:

Soap: AOS, unscented
Brush: Omega Lucretia Borgia
Razor: 1961 Gillette Fatboy
Blade: Voskhod
A/S: TSD Milk, unscented

It has been several month since I used the Fatboy, and this was the first time I tried it with a Voskhod blade. Wonderful smooth combination! I had the razor set on 3, tomorrow I'll try 5.

This razor was made in America at the height of the Cold War. Could the makers have ever imagined that 50 years later it would be paired up with a Russian blade?

3 pass DFS. I find the Personna injector blades a bit rough, but still a decent shave. Face lathered with the Vie Long since I was in a hurry and still got tons of wonderful lather from the ISZ. Plan on using the Vie Long all week to try and break it in a bit more.

 

Yep...I know you are always looking for a reason to use that M type...

Great start to injector week! I'm not a good with my injectors as I am my DEs but the shave is still comfy, just a bit more to critique. I have a little bit of irritation on my chin and area beneath my bottom lip, but other than that it was a great shave.

Easily 3 if not 3.5 out of 5 blades.

Very nice shave this evening. I love this razor. The Voskhod delivered. The Ingram SC was nice as always. The brush has a great face feel, but now feels a bit small after bonding with a Chubby 2. And lastly, the boosted Superior 70 is a treat.

Actually it was an evening of June, 27. I decided to change almost all variables in one day. It was an evening shave, with the brush that I use for the first time last month, with my absolute favorite SC and I bowl lathered instead of face lathering...

Although I had a very nice shave, and I think this Compass Ice Energy cream is very good, it doesn't have enough menthol for a good cooling effect. It has awesome lather, and it's very moisturizing and protective.
