    Prep: Hot shower
Coffee: Home roasted Rwanda/Starbucks French Roast mix, BLACK
    Soap: Vintage Old Spice
    Brush: C&E Pure Badger
    Injector: Schick E Model
    Blade: ???, day 3, 3+ passes
Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, Dickenson's WH + 2 drops M Bomb, Pinaud Clubman
    'Stache Wax: Steve's Own

    Shave Rating: 4 Blades

So far with each passing shave, this blade has gotten smoother. Darn near 5 blades today. Makes me wonder how the first two shaves might have been if I had been able to hand strop 'em like I do all my other blades. :signs002

    A long hot shower.
Choose a Parker badger to whip up some great Mitchell's Wool Fat lather. Two days of growth, a Gillette Fat Handle Tech with an Asco blade. Four passes I had a great shave felt great afterwards. Follow-up with Thayers Witch Hazel w/ Rose Water.

    Injector week: Day 3

Yes. Yes it is :D It is one of my favorite shave thingies. And thank you. Knotty Roddy has one too. They are damn cool. $2 ha!

@ Lloyd: Thanks, I had no idea that it was even remotely special. Thanks for the info. Nice to know I was sitting on a gem :)

@ Bill (Dridecker): One day sir, something really good is going to happen to you. I don't know how, who, when, but I do know why. Hell, I don't even believe in karma, but your kindness will be avenged! *shakes fist* And thanks again :ashamed001

Don't worry Phil, we are all paying attention. I was really considering squirreling away some shave money so I could get one of these and their rust and lack of response to someone who shelled out >$200 for a product is really kinda pissing us all off. It isn't unnoticed.

    Ok, onto the shave:
    • Schick L1 injector
    • MWF
    • The Dridecker
    • Ted Pella (3)
    • boosted AV musk AS

Yep. Pressure. That is what kept me from having an outstanding shave on Monday. I suspected it yesterday when I checked my fundamentals and had an awesome shave and did so again today. I'm really glad we did this. I just love my DEs so much that the injectors kinda fell off my radar. Really good razors and having the added bonus of finding out I have an "interesting" one too makes it all the cooler. So, the MWF performed really well, as usual, and The Dridecker did too. Finished it off with the AV musk and went to work smiling. 90% BBS today and 100% comfy.

    4 out of 5 blades.

After yesterday's SOTQ discussion I feeled nostalgic, so I returned to my TSD set up:

    TSD preshave balm ( :love055 :love008)
    8/8 W&B restored by Glen
    Paddle strop
    Vie-Long horsehair brush
    Ceramic painted bowl
    TSD Cantaloupe soap ( :love055 :love008)
    Cold water rag
TSD AS English Fern Milk ( :love055 :love008)

JoAnna's products suits each other wery well! What a nice shave it was! Nice glide and plenty of protection, very softening and soothing. And I just needed to bowl lather such a nice scented soap!
    DFS+!

First use of the Wee Scot, and I was very surprised by the amount of lather this micro brush held.
    Great shaves today , Gentlemen.

    INJECTOR WEEK-DAY3 (HUMP-DAY)
Thursday June 29th, 2011 3rd day of Injector Week!

    -1954 Schick Hydro-Magic Injector with EMS/Personna (Day1)
    -Omega 10029 Baby-Pro Boar
    -Arko Shave Stick/Arko Max.Comf.SC
-Arko Nem moisturizer/Arko Aqua/Rebul Lavenda Cologne
    -Guerlain Habit Rouge

Today I totally contradict what I said yesturday...Then I was crying how the Schick was a 1 pass DFS'er and I missed the leisurely 3 pass and touch-up I do with my DE's...And when I tried that with my Schick on Tuesday it was TOO close....Well Bob was talking about how easy it is to use pressure with these guys, so I took it to heart and today I did a 3 pass + touch-up complete with razor buffing and J-hooking...I used NO pressure and had a BLAST :happy108...Absolutely NO irritation and this is closer than BBS...Baby's bottoms would be jealous...

    Soap/Cream: C&E Sandalwood super lather
    Brush: Mohawk 3-338

Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, Dickenson's WH, B&BW Oak
    'Stache Wax: Steve's Own

    Shave Rating: 4 Blades

Another really good shave. Again, not as smooth as I've had with my DEs, convincing me all the more that hand stropping does give a smoother shave.

I have enjoyed the injector week, though. Props to Lloyd!! :happy088 :happy088
